Depression & Manic-Depression Support Group of Norwalk, CT

The Depression & Manic-Depression Support Group, of Norwalk, CT, is a self-help group run completely by it's own members.   Our primary focus is to provide understanding, and increasing knowledge to our members. We try to have guest speakers, or special presentations once every month or two.   We stress confidentiality, but encourage friendship between members for leisure and educational activities.

Meetings (or Events):

You can contact us for further information, or directions, at 1-203-854-6745, Norwalk.   We meet every SECOND and FOURTH Thursday of each month, from 7 pm until 9 pm.   Our meetings are held at Grace Episcopal Church, located at Union Park and Mott Ave.   To get there, take Exit 15 off I-95 (going north or south). Get off at Exit 1. At the light, turn right. Make your next right, and continue about 1/8 mile, until you see a large church on your left. That is the meeting place. Park in the lot on the right side of the church.   Refreshments will be available.

Membership requirements:

You need only have an interest in Depression or Manic-Depression (also known as Uni-polar and Bi-polar illnesses).   You may attend as a member, a family member, a friend, a professional, or simply a curious guest.   Membership is FREE, but we ask that you make a small donation of $1 (or less if that is too much) to help cover the cost of refreshments.
